What it was
Wild Wood ran inside the Westin Union union on ClubGG. That union is still active, which is the useful part: the pool Wild Wood drew from has not gone anywhere, only this club's door has shut.
It spread $1/$2 through $10/$20 (NL200–NL2000). Every one of those levels is covered by clubs we currently place players in, so nothing about your game has to change.
The player base was mainly USA. When we match you to a replacement we keep that in mind — a club with the same stakes but the wrong time zone is not a replacement.
Clubs go inactive for ordinary reasons: the owner stops funding the club, the union consolidates rosters, or traffic drops below the point where it is worth running. Message us with the stakes you played and we will point you at what is live today.
Rules & restrictions
❗️Please remember that you need to bring balanced traffic in the club. This club is not for everyone and though it is fine to bring some stronger players, you will need to balance this out with weaker players
• These main rules for now are:
- No ratholing: If you’ve won on a table, do not finish the calltime and then come back to the same table with a 2nd/3rd+ account to buy in for less than you left the table with.
- No VPIP circumvention: This also means when your player is winning money and has calltime activated he needs to be at the minimum table VPIP when the calltime ends.
❗️Repeat offenders will be subject to penalties that grow in size as more infractions are committed and can also lead to the player being banned from the club. The club reserves the right to remove any player from the club at any time at which point their winnings would be paid and they would be told they are not welcome in the club anymore and any attempt to circumvent that rule at any point in the future would result in the funds seized.
Penalty Scale (but the club can choose to remove anyone from the club at any time and repeat offenders will be some of the first to be removed from the club):
• 1st offense: Warning
• 2nd offense: Confiscation of 25% of the player's total rake for the given week (Monday-Sunday)
• 3rd offense: Confiscation of 50% of the player's total rake for the given week (Monday-Sunday)
• 4th offense: Confiscation of 100% of the player's total rake for the given week and gets a 2 week suspension
